Welcome to BAIHOCA >The baroque & iberian horses of colour association

international horse register !!!

The BAIHOCA Registry was established for all horses and ponies of baroque

and iberian breeding worldwide and to promote the breeding of coloureds within

these beautiful breed groups and to encourage the equine world to register their horses or ponies

The registry is opened to anyone with baroque or iberian bred horses and ponies

or part-breds and coloureds (that are breeding baroque or iberian breeds).

Eligible & Guidance:

IE: COLOUREDS THIS ALSO REFERS TO

ALL DILUTES OR SPOTTEDS  etc:

A 1. Pure coloured baroque or iberian horses or ponies including dilutes etc.  

A 2. Pure -breeds ie> pura raza espanola horses & ponies of pure-breds of 

   baroque or iberian blood.

B 1 . Non baroque or iberian bred horses & ponies but must be coloured/spotted/dilute

( if you own a coloured stallion he may be eligible to register as a baihoca

association foundation sire only if he has been passed in grading)

B 2. coloured mares are eligible to register as baihoca approved as long

as they are bred to baroque or iberian sires which would equal cross-bred.

C 1. All other breeds of horses & ponies with or without breed papers coloured or

other coat types that are not of baroque or iberian breeding can also be eligible to

register provided they are intended for breeding and producing coloured or baroque or

iberian part-breds or cross-breds etc.

Geldings can be registerd but MUST be min part bred baroque or iberian and coloured.

All Approved breeding stock are clearly listed on the public stallions and mare pages of this website.

MAIN STUD BOOK

Section 1:Reserved for pure bred Baroque &/or Iberian Colour Stallions/Mares/youngstock. 

Section 2:Part breds of baroque &/or iberian colour breeding Stallions/mares/youngstock.

Section 3:Horses/ponies of pure bred /part bred origin but not coloured themselves . 

MAIN STUD BOOK IS FOR BREEDING STOCK ONLY AND THOSE WITH A MIN

OF 3 GENERATIONS PEDIGREE ON BOTH DAM A SIRE SIDES AFTER GRADING.

FOUNDATION STUD BOOK

Section 1:Reserved for High calibre Horses/ponies coloured & Non coloured not Baroque &/or iberian breds

but used to improve the Associations future objectives Stallions/mares/youngstock.

(horses MUST have full pedigrees for section 1)

Section 2:Stallions/mares/youngstock of colour but without papers to beyond 2 generations but still

able to improve type/colour but must be BAIHOCA type. 

Section 3:Stallions/mares/youngstock of solid colour without papers beyond 2 generations but still able to

improve type.

THE FOUNDATION STUD BOOK IS FOR BREEDING HORSES/PONIES ONLY AND IT IS TOTALLY

AT OUR DISCRETION OF ACCEPTANCE INTO THIS STUD BOOK AFTER GRADING.

REGISTRY  BOOK

Section 1 :PURE BRED BAIHOCA TYPE. STALLIONS MARES AND YOUNGSTOCK.

Section 2 :PART BRED BAIHOCA TYPE.STALLIONS MARES AND YOUNGSTOCK.

Section 3:GELDINGS OF BAIHOCA TYPE. 

This book is for non approved breeding horses and ponies after grading,before grading or horses and ponies

used soley for competition and pleasure.  

All Horses/ponies are registerd in basic registry book untill grading has been passed and you receive the min

grade required for either main stud book or foundation stud book.
